The SW-2 Gen1 wall dimmer can handle loads up to 900W. It replaces a standard wall switch and provides dimming capabilities, remote control capabilities, and the ability to add transmitters for additional control capabilities.

Features/Applications

The SW-2 UPB wall switch is used to replace standard wall mounted wall switches and provide dimming capabilities as well as remote control capabilities of the controlled light.

This device is very unique as it can be configured with 1, 2, 3, 4 or 7 extra rockers which act as transmitters. Now, one device can be used to control a load, and at the same time act as pushbutton controllers.

The wall switch/ controller mounts in a standard wall electrical box, and is wired using the existing power wires. The wall switch is in a standard Decora style mechanics and uses standard Decora style faceplates.

The switch comes in different colors, with the standard being white.

The switch is extremely flexible, and can be programmed to enable / disable fade, different fade rates, including Snap! On and Off, insertion into up to 16 different scenes, and insertion into multiple macros.

Installation is extremely simple. Merely replace the existing wall switch with the new SW-2 wall switch. The wall switch does require the use of the white neutral wire, where most standard switches have no connection for the neutral. The switch does have "pigtail" wires, so space in the box can be tight. In new installations, it is advisable to install deep electrical wall boxes.
