The SW-3 Remote Wall Switch is used with a standard SW-2 or SW-7 in a 3 way or 4 way circuit configuration. Only the wall switch switches the load circuit - the SW-3 tells the wall switch what to do.

Features/Applications

The SW-3 Remote Wall Switch provides an inexpensive mechanism for implementing a 3 way or 4 way circuit. Rather than using a complicated, expensive switch, this device merely signals the main wall switch on the circuit that the user wants to change states. The wall switch then reacts to the request from the remote switch.

The Remote Wall Switch looks just like the standard wall switch, but costs substantially less.
